Empowering Research in the Digital Humanities: A Modular Approach at the University of Bern

Join us for this short presentation to discover how the University of Bern Library supports research in the Digital Humanities (DH) and other fields where results are presented digitally online. We will showcase a modular system that provides researchers with flexible, standard-compliant solutions while minimizing administrative overhead and required financial resources. Key components include a IIIF service, a TEI publisher service, and BORIS Portal, the institutional research data repository. This infrastructure, developed in collaboration with the DH department and the Data Science Lab at the University of Bern, enables sustainable and scalable support for research projects.
