Bern Data Talks - Data Re-use
In the fall semester 2024, the Bern Data Talk will focus on the topic of data reuse. There are numerous advantages associated with re-using research data: researchers can work more efficiently, they can broaden their basis of reference data, and investigate research data is unique, rare or difficult to reproduce. However, challenges such as inadequate documentation, access problems and legal restrictions can hinder effective reuse.
At the next Bern Data Talk, three researchers from Bern will report on their experiences, challenges and good practices in the reuse of research data:
- Dominic Weber, Digital Humanities, University of Bern
- Dr. Luise Baumgartner, Bern Academy of the Arts, Bern University of Applied Sciences
- Dr. Bernhard Völkl, Veterinary Medicine, University of Bern
