Restricted SNSF funding criteria for open access publications as of 2027. New rules and consequences

The SNSF is cutting funding for open access publications: from January 2027, the SNSF will apply stricter funding criteria for open access publications. The Open Access Team will provide information on the new rules, their implications, and alternatives in a short Zoom session on 8 October 2026 at 1 pm. This session will focus more on journal articles than the event in June.
