Open Science: Open Access and Open Research Data in clinical studies. DCR Day of Clinical Research 2024 For science to be free, it needs to be open. It takes principles, standards and tools to achieve this. In this seminar we will discuss good scientific practice, look at national and international strategies and guidelines in Open Science (Open Access and Open Research Data), and examine their relevance for clinical studies. We will introduce a newly designed Bern Medical Research Landscape roadmap, which helps researchers navigate their Open Science journey and shows them the many offers of Open Science support and services available at the University of Bern and the Insel Hospital.
